Program Statement
Maple Tree Montessori Childcare adheres to “How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years (2014)” as the guiding document under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014.
Maple Tree Montessori Childcare helps to provide safe, high quality childcare in a developmentally appropriate environment, which creates a sense of BELONGINGNESS between children, adults and the world around them. Our daycare focus is to provide stimulating early care, which nurtures the child’s WELLBEING in supporting his/her sense of self. Along with the help of some Montessori resources ENGAGE each child to promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive development where he/she is able to EXPRESS himself/herself freely in a friendly, caring and loving environment. Our daycare goal is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners through exploration, play and inquiry.
